With a regret, Voxengo has to suspend international sales for an undefined period of time, starting October 15th, 2024. 2Checkout, Inc., a payment company I was doing business with since 2006, has scheduled cancellation of the contract, most probably due to recent US sanctions targeting Russian IT sector.

Voxengo CurveEQ update version 3.14 is now available for download. Voxengo CurveEQ, available in AudioUnit, AAX, VST, and VST3 plug-in formats, for macOS and Windows computers, is a spline equalizer plugin for professional music and audio production applications.

Version 3.14 update includes the following changes:

• Changed CSV file saving to use a more widely-used semi-colon. Compatibility with comma-delimiters retained.
• Fixed a very rare crash when changing the EQ curve if CPU is already overloaded.
• Fixed a GUI issue that could affect host's transport on Intel Macs.
• Fixed occasional GUI flickering on macOS (due to usage of Device RGB color-space, now it is sRGB).
• Improved audio-UI interoperability, to reduce a chance of audio stutter happening when UI is active.
• Reduced GUI refresh jitter.

Voxengo is happy to release TEOTE version 1.13, an automatic spectral balancer plugin for professional music production applications, available in AAX, AudioUnit, VST, and VST3 plugin formats, for macOS and Windows computers. TEOTE was designed to be a very useful tool for both mixing and mastering. It automatically performs such tasks like gentle resonances taming, de-essing, tilt equalizing, usually performed during mixing and mastering. In mixing, TEOTE sounds good on pretty much any material.

The list of changes in this version:

• Added the "W" (wrap) mode to the "Boost T" selector.
• Reduced visual tearing on Windows.
• Added palette visual features. Updated palettes. The "Flat Panels" global settings is now a part of color scheme's visual features.
• Added the "Auto Oversampling on Render" plug-in setting which forces "Auto" oversampling in all instances of this plug-in on render/bounce.

In the new "W" (wrap) mode the gain is gradually reduced towards the unity gain, when the threshold level is crossed.

While by definition TEOTE is a dynamic equalizer, its technology is solely based on multi-band dynamics processing. This allows TEOTE to have only minor phase issues, and to produce a subtle transient-emphasis effect associated with dynamics processing. TEOTE tries to make the program material follow the specified spectral profile, tuned to the contemporary mastering standards by default. It can be said that TEOTE “straightens” the frequency response, making further adjustments a lot easier; it removes a lot of repeating work.

SPAN Plus is an extended version of the freeware SPAN plug-in: SPAN Plus provides several additional features such as PNG file export, real-time spectrum import/export, static spectrums display, and a “wide” spectrum display.

SPAN Plus provides you with a very flexible “mode” system which you can use to setup your spectrum analyzer preferences. You may specify Fourier block size in samples, FFT window overlap percentage, spectrum's visual slope. Beside that you can choose to display secondary spectrum of a desired type (e.g. real-time maximum, all-time maximum). Spectrum can be smoothed out visually for an easier examination.

SPAN Plus supports multi-channel analysis and can be set to display spectrums from two different channels or channel groups at the same time. Spectrum's color can be chosen to taste.

SPAN Plus also features output level metering with adjustable ballistics and integration time, K-metering (including calibration K-metering). SPAN Plus displays level metering statistics, headroom estimation and clipping detection. Correlation metering is available as well.
